At Palmetto Health, we are dedicated to making healthcare accessible and affordable. Our practice accepts a wide range of health insurance plans to accommodate our patients. Below is a list of the health plans we currently work with.
If you do not see your insurance provider listed, we can assist you in obtaining a reimbursement form to submit to your insurer directly. Please note that there may be deductibles and copayments applicable to your plan.

QUESTIONS ABOUT BILLING

What kind of billing statements will I receive?
You will receive a detailed statement of your bill. Once your insurance has processed your claim, we will provide you with a monthly account statement reflecting any remaining balance.
How long does it take to process insurance claims?
Typically, it can take between 30 to 45 days for insurance companies to settle claims.
Why do I receive separate bills from different providers?
You may receive individual bills from various healthcare professionals involved in your treatment, including:
- Your primary care physician
- Specialists who performed tests or procedures
- Consulting physicians who reviewed your test results
Each of these providers will bill separately for their services, including specialists in fields such as pediatrics, cardiology, or dermatology.
If I have questions about how my insurance calculated my payment, who can I ask?
We are here to help with any information we receive from your insurance provider. However, for specific inquiries regarding payments, deductibles, or co-pays, you will likely need to contact your insurance company directly.
